Ford is introducing its best-selling Built Ford Tough truck franchise in China. New and tougher Ford trucks are arriving in China.

Ford is going to expand the market of its famous truck franchise Built Ford Tough. The franchise that offers a number of tough looking and impressive trucks is supposed to make its way in China.

The company is off to launch its Ford Ranger mid-sized pickups in China by the start of year 2018. The inclusion of Built Ford Tough in China will provide a healthy growth opportunity to Chinese pick up market.

The pickup truck market is expanding smoothly in China. Thus it is the best time that Ford introduced its bestselling truck line up Built Ford Tough over there. It will help the company gain good revenue and will also provide better opportunity in Chinese pick up market.

The formal plan of the introduction of this line up will be presented in upcoming event held in Shanghai. This event will be led by President and CEO of Ford, Mark Fields. He will discuss and elaborate the plan of introducing the new range of vehicle by Ford in China.

According to the CEO, he saw an opportunity of growth in the Chinese market. He also said that there was a big void which can be filled with quality pickups of Ford.

“We’re very excited to bring Built Ford Tough, one of the world’s best loved and most successful brands, to customers in the world’s largest auto market,” said Mark Fields, Ford president and CEO. “We see a significant white-space opportunity with Chinese buyers increasingly looking for more capable, more refined and more stylish pickups.”

The Chinese citizens are looking for trucks that are not only best performance wise but are also technology wise fit as well. Thus the upcoming Ford line up will be able to provide all of this to them. Chinese government has also lifter the restrictions of using pickups in city centers. This has also increased the interest of people in buying these vehicles.

The world class, stylish and refined pickups of Ford will surely impress the people of China.

“We see an opportunity to satisfy unmet need in China – for world-class, stylish and refined pickups – and also to be a pioneer in this emerging segment,” said Dave Schoch, president of Ford Asia Pacific and CEO, Ford China. “Built Ford Tough is a proven brand, dating back to 1976 and we believe it has the opportunity to resonate powerfully with Chinese consumers.”

The most powerful Ford pickup, the all-new F-150 Raptor, is now available in China. Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) will be announced at Ford’s “Go Further, China” event in Shanghai on April 8.

“The F-150 Raptor has created a lot of buzz among Chinese customers since it was revealed for the first time last year and we are extremely excited to have it arriving in our showrooms in China, ready to be delivered to customers,” said Peter Fleet, vice president, Marketing, Sales and Service, Ford Asia Pacific.
