Here Is Samsung Gear S3 running Android Wear

Samsung Gear S3 root access acheived

A developer with hidden identity just updated an XDA thread that has been working on achieving Android Wear to work on Samsung Gear S3. The thread pointed that the process would require customized firmware to work. The developer in concern just attached source files with a customized firmware which would unlock root-level read/write permissions.

The source files, written to work on Samsung’s Exynos 7270 chip will enable flashing anything that is compatible with Gear S3’s hardware components. The project right now is still in its infant state but has the potential to reach the ultimate objective. Hackers of high level expertise have showed interest in developing the firmware which could allow Android Wear to become compatible on Exynos 7270 chipset.

An interesting debate goes on, trying to determine whether Android Wear is really worthy of replacing Samsung’s Tizen OS on Gear S3. The main arguments that summarize the debate are that default Gear S3 operating system is going to provide a much better and synchronized experience with Samsung Smartphones.

On the other hand, Android Wear is integrated very deeply with Google services (especially the Google Assistant), which are very often called upon even in a Samsung smartphone.
