Google wants to follow Samsung and Apple in terms of using bendable displays

Google is making its next Pixel phone these days. And now a new report from South Korea's Electronic Times suggests that Google's next Pixel smartphones could sport curved OLED display screens.

Actually the ET report noted that Google wants to invest at least 1 trillion won ($880.29 million) in South Korea's LG Display company. Sources revealed that Google wants to invest this huge amount to get a stable supply of flexible organic light-emitting diode (OLED) screens for its next Pixel phones.

Curved displays are really famous these days. Not only Samsung but Apple is interested in curved screens too. New Samsung Galaxy S8 sports curved screen. And Apple is also said to order 160 million of curved screens for its next iPhones.

Google has not yet commented on this news report while LG Display has declined to comment.
