Dwayne Johnson puts water of the raging fires of conflict with Vin Diesel as Fast 8 prepares to premiere worldwide

Dwayne Johnson’s Instagram posts from the set of Fate of the Furious or Fast 8 caught a lot of attention as he ranted about his male co-stars calling them “candy ass men” while giving a shout-out to his female co-stars.

The news soon hit the tabloids that the rant was hinted towards Vin Diesel who also served as a producer on the movie. Many thought it was a publicity stunt. An ensuing media speculative battle developed and Vin Diesel tried to clarify his side as well.

Looks like the raging fires of the conflict have finally put to rest. With Vin Diesel initiating the friendly terms via a video where he was hosting Dwayne in his house, he said that at his place he was “Uncle Dwayne”; Johnson also came through it seems.

Recently on the premiere of the movie, he said making a great movie for the fans who had supported them and given them so much love had enabled all of them to pull through and get along with each other.

He said that when you have the fans in mind and giving a hundred percent becomes your goal, all the other issues work out and they are able to move on. During his comments, Johnson did not reiterate from his earlier comments he made on Instagram but it seems that all is good now in the Fast and Furious family.

Johnson’s performance in the Fast 8 movie has been praised by critics and some have even remarked that he held up the story in his character as Hobbs. The movie is set to premiere worldwide on April 14th.
