On April 15, SNL goes live across the nation for the first time ever.

The SNL show on April 15 will be historic. For the first time in its 42-year history, Saturday Night Live will be live nationwide. NBC will broadcast SNL at the same time east to west. Hosting the first ever nationwide live SNL show is Jimmy Fallon with Harry Styles as musical guest.

Melissa McCarthy will also host nationwide live SNL show on May 13. She is the standout star of the current SNL season with her impersonation of White House press secretary Sean Spicer. Of course lets not forget Alec Baldwin as President Trump.

SNL has all these years been live in the Eastern and Central time zones but has been broadcasted delayed in the Pacific and Mountain time zones. The move makes a lot of sense as all Americans can join in on social media together as they watch the show.

The 42nd season of SNL will end on May 20th. Other hosts for the remaining episodes are Chris Pine and Dwayne Johnson.

SNL airs at 11:30pm Eastern. The SNL episode on April 15 will air at 8:30pm Pacific. SNL fans on the west coast need to be aware of the schedule change to not miss the show hosted by SNL alumni Jimmy Fallon.
