Here is how you can add more gestures to Apple Airpods

Apple took the courtesy of taking the dreaded steps and unlocked the doors of Truly Wireless technology. With complete removal of wires from iPhone’s factory earbuds (AirPods) along with the removal of audio jack from the iPhone, Apple has created a small issue for users.

The problem is that the earbuds now have noting of a remote to control their functions. Siri’s capabilities to control what goes on in the earbuds and some minor gesture-controls are the only way a user has to control AirPods. Apple may not have helped those users who wanted more control, but now, Siliqua can help you.

Siliqua is a jailbreak application which has the capabilities of assigning controls of your choice to gestures of your preference. Siliqua brilliantly adopted the AirPod’s system of gesture reading and further augmented the actions performed on unique gestures, based on user’s preference. Siliqua is available for free on BigBoss’ official repository on Cydia store.

This Godsend of a tweak will gain access to actions like Pause/Play, skip, rewind, Fast Forward 15 seconds, Rewind 15 seconds, Increase/Decrease Volume, and toggle Siri. That almost sums up to be all the actions that any AirPod user could only dream of, until now.

Head over to BigBoss’ repository on Cydia store and try the tweak yourself. There are some more cool features in the tweak which were a must-deliver in our opinion but failed to be delivered by Apple.
