A series of novel images of the iPhone 8 show a maximum display screen and minimum bezels all around it.

A 3D design drawing appeared recently regarding the iPhone 8. Yet now a totally new image of this cool smartphone has appeared that shows a device that is a bit smaller in its dimensions.

While the truth-value of this drawing remains at best a matter of faith in the everyday occurrences of life, it just might be closer to reality than the previously leaked image.

This new render of the iPhone 8, shared by Weibo leaker KK, comes pretty close to the iPhone 7’s body. However, its girth is not shown in the drawing. Its display unit is pretty wide and spacious in its extent though and nearly covers the entire region at the front.

There is only a 4mm bezel around the four corners of this display. Half of this consists of the 2.5D curved glass at the sides. The remaining material comprises the frame of the gadget around the edges.

There is also a slim earpiece towards the upper region of the front of the gizmo. There are a number of features which include cameras, sensors and other bits and pieces that are found on both sides of the earpiece, according to MacRumors.

These include a front-facing camera, a tiny microphone hole, a suitable light sensor, a proximity sensor and a 3D sensor which may or may not be included in the list of features.

These components are firmly imbedded in the substance of the device especially around the display area. The earpiece almost seems to be a narrow slit in the device. Since the display area is so large, there is no Home button. Also no Touch ID sensor exists on this contraption.

Apple Inc. has been having a difficult time making the Touch ID within the context of the display area of the smartphone. The firm’s technicians are thinking of shifting this feature towards the back of the device.

The rear of the iPhone 8 shows a vertical dual camera. An LED flash is also there somewhere in the mix. What remains a mystery is whether these two drawings, one leaked after the other in succession, have a common model smartphone from which they have taken inspiration.

The rumor mill is in full swing and some solid certainty will only emerge from the sea of doubts with the actual arrival of the smartphone on the store shelves.
