  • Images of the upcoming HTC Ocean or U device allegedly leaked online!

The images leaked by Evan Blass on Twitter show the front and back panels of the U device with much clarity

In a tweet, Evan Blass just released an alleged leaked image of the upcoming HTC Ocean also known as the U device. If the image is authentic then it shows the final design of the HTC Ocean.

The image shows the front and back panels of the device with much wanted clarity. The phone seems to be black and shows a physical home button. It is possible this very home button may also house the fingerprint sensor.

The button can also be used for the rear-facing camera with the LED flash module. Although the color of the device in the image is black quite different than the previously believed red.

Previously documents showing the design of the HTC Ocean had been leaked online. The new image shows quite some similarities with the design in the documents.

However the documents contained only the front design of the HTC Ocean. The new leaked image also shows the back panel design. HTC has used glass for the back panel which suggests the smartphone will likely be a magnet for fingerprints.

The glass back also ensures the smartphone will have a nice premium look. The image also suggests the upcoming smartphone will have minimal bezels on both the sides but the top and bottom may have larger bezels.

The U device is supposed to be the next flagship device by HTC and is set to follow the footsteps of the HTC 10. It has been reported the Ocean will have high-end specs such as a 5.5-inch display along with a Quad HD resolution.

Similarly a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and 3,000 mAh battery are expected. The memory will boast 64GB and 128GB storage and a 4GB and 6GB RAM option.
