  • Real life clear shots of Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus dual camera leaked!

The prototype of the upcoming smartphone shows a clear dual camera set up on the back

Images of the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus prototype have been leaked yet again. The images were previously leaked earlier in this very month. However this time around the images are real-life rather than the design illustration leaked before.

The new shots show the smartphones does indeed have a dual camera setup on the back in clear view. The clear images also show the alleged heart rate sensor and an LED flash expected to be featured are placed below the dual camera setup.

The dual camera set up shows the two cameras are aligned vertically but centered in the middle. This placement is quite different from usual Samsung smartphones where the camera is aligned at the sides, according to AndroidHeadlines.

The front side of the smartphone in the new clear shots is identical to the previous leak images showing the design. On further examination we can also see there is no fingerprint scanner either on the front or the back.

Rumor has it Samsung originally planned to add a scanner below the phone’s display. However due to time constraint Samsung was unable to work with Inventec in time to make it happen. Samsung will probably have to wait until the next-gen Galaxy S devices to add the in-display fingerprint scanner.

According to Samsung, the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus will be released at the end of this month and pre-orders of the devices have already started.

Right now more than 600,000 pre-orders for the Galaxy S8 Plus have been noted and the number is expected to rise in the coming days. The upcoming devices are expected to outsell the previous generation smartphones but time will tell.
