Nintendo Switch has hit 2.4 million sales in its debut month

Nintendo has been very busy since the fall of their reimagination of Nintendo Wii: the Nintendo Wii U. Nintendo Switch came out about a month ago and the platform has caused chaos all over the world with its amazing robust modular build and kickass performance.

It was no doubt that Nintendo Switch will top the charts all over the place, but to what extent, was unexpected. Nintendo Switch was emptied out the very moment it hit the stores and now the gaming console is only available at a premium price online.

Nintendo seems to have been overwhelmed as the product is expected to be short on supply figures for the whole year. Don’t worry, Nintendo company has not become incompetent. According to a report generated by SuperData, it’s just that the console is being grabbed at an unmanageable scale.

According to this report by SuperData, Nintendo Switch has sold 2.4 million units in just its first month of launch. The report is a very detailed calculation of Nintendo Switch’s sale and suspects that this figure will again be outmatched by the one generated by the end of 2017.

If you read earlier, SuperData calculated that Nintendo Switch’s sale by the end of the year will be 5 million. Judging by the first month’s sales, SuperData has now increased their guess from 5 million units of Nintendo Switch to 7.3 million units sold by the end of the year.
