Origin’s new EON15-S laptop for enthusiastic and excited gamers is to cost only a nominal $999 per unit.

Origin’s EON15-S laptop is a curious mixture of exhilarating gaming and portable magic. The model for 2017 is pretty much the same as last year’s baby with the only difference being that it is very economical.

For just $999 a laptop can be yours. The PC maker has added an NVIDIA’s novel 4GB 1050 Ti graphics card. This gives the novel model a slight advantage speed-wise over the previous sample.

All this is crammed into a 1 inch, 5 pound case which costs merely $999. There is however no high resolution screen choice this time around. Remember that last year such an option was available.

Yet this is in keeping with the needs of many gamers who didn’t really require the extra pixels in the first place. Add to this the fact that the low resolution screen aids the laptop in properly achieving its six hour battery life and you see that it is not such a bad sacrifice to make for the eager gaming crowd.

Some of the other specifications include a special “Kaby Lake” CPU which is very affordable. Also 32GB of RAM storage capacity will be there for the users. According to CNet via Engadget, an RGB backlit keyboard will be coupled with a wide range of choices as to external color to make anyone’s day.

The price is the minimum that anyone can pay for the laptop. It is subject to revision depending upon the other facilities and services that could be availed alongside the original laptop. Yet the cost price remains reasonable and not so much as to cause a dent in the average consumer’s wallet.

Last year’s model had a noisy fan. It is still premature to say whether this issue has been resolved this time around or not. For $1899 you can get Razor’s 14 inch Blade which has a far more superior card.

Yet this laptop is not a bad deal either and many will take their chance with it alone. They may just be making the right choice since not everything that has a steep rate is worth it. Sometimes a normal rate lends you a whole lot in return for what is written on the price tag.
