The Apple iPhone 8 is rumored to have many cool and funky features.

Among some of the flying rumors concerning the Apple iPhone 8 are such statements that point towards it having a smooth and sleek exterior.

The stainless steel glass sandwich which will hold it all in one piece is a beautiful piece of engineering and technology. Also a vertical iSight camera and flat OLED display make this baby one worth shelling out some cold hard cash for on an urgent basis.

Apple is in the process of finalizing its specifications for this iPhone. This iPhone will be released into the market along with the 7S and 7S Plus later on in 2017. The glass sandwich has undergone the EVT process.

Apple plans on employing an upgraded stainless steel in its full metal chassis. Although the glass cover is slightly curved towards the sides, the OLED display screen is completely flat and has well-defined edges.

There are rumors that Apple will follow Samsung’s lead by making its iPhone’s OLED display a curved one. How much veracity such claims have can only be gauged when the iPhone 8 comes out in the last few months of this year.

Apple normally tends to use a flat panel design. So the claim made may just be a rumor without any basis in reality. Finally, coming to the user controls,

Apple is to incorporate a home button in its handset via some sophisticated software. The ordinary round button will most likely be replaced with a Touch ID fingerprint module, according to AppleInsider.

There are again many who say that the Touch ID fingerprint recognition technology will be placed beneath the handset’s display. Verification of these doubtful claims remains open thus adding fuel to the fire of uncertainty. Also a camera with iSight modules will make the handset VR-friendly.
