  • PayPal and Google Join Hands for Digital Wallet Partnership

It looks like both PayPal and Google are shaking hands in joint inclusivity over a novel digital wallet bonding.

PayPal and Google are extending their joint partnership with a brand new agreement. This allows both of the giant firms to make provision for payments through the utility of a phone from many retail hubs. PayPal users can now connect their accounts to Android Pay.

This happens to be Google’s main digital wallet system. PayPal is thus onto a payment choice at such locations as Walgreens Boots Alliance pharmaceutical stores and Dunkin’ Donuts eateries.

PayPal and Google hooked up with each other as regards this arrangement over three years ago, according to Bloomberg. Their friendship as partners in this business has lasted and will hopefully last in the future.

The CEO of PayPal, Dan Schulman has been wheeling and dealing with various banks which are worth their weight in gold. They possess the Midas Touch.

Also a number of credit card companies and wireless carriers have been invited to jump on the bandwagon and thus in the process PayPal has been converted into a far wider network. It used to be all about making payments on different websites.

Now though it has become a pretty complex tool of financial transactions. Payments can be made in grocery stores and money can be transferred overseas. Even online shopping can occur via your smartphone using this proper channel.

PayPal has made inroads into stores and has gotten involved in various business institutions and practices which have all enhanced its reputation as a highly lucrative nexus.

Now consumers use PayPal at the slightest nudge of economic choice thereby making it the ideal and preferred payment methodology for the 21st century.

The partnership with Google will pay off in a big way in the times to come. It will build an ecosystem out of the world economy. The only impediment in the way to PayPal’s universality is Apple’s digital wallet which remains out of reach.

The link between Google and PayPal may lead to a merger in the near future. You never know what lies in the cards. PayPal originally split from its parent company, EBay.

That was two years ago. It processed some $354 billion in transactions in 2016. The number of functional customers are close to 197 million for this huge financial exchange hub. As Google and PayPal work together they may become one if the conditions are right somewhere along the way.
