The Xiaomi Mi 6 comes with dual rear cameras, Snapdragon 835 processor and 128 GB of storage

Xiaomi just released it new flagship smartphone and it is being called the Xiaomi Mi 6. The release comes months after numerous rumors and leaks of the highly anticipated smartphone. The new Xiaomi Mi 6 comes with a 5.15 inch display, but that’s not all, the display is in HD.

The Mi 6 handset is made entirely out of metal and glass. Although the new Mi 6 resembles its predecessor the Mi 5 to a great extent, the home key is larger on the new handset. Another improvement is the addition of the dual camera on the back of the new Mi 6, compared to the single rear camera on the Mi 5.

The flagship smartphone by Xiaomi will feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon operating system which has an 835 64-bit octa-core processor. Qualcomm’s most powerful processor also has a clock time of 2.45 GHz. in terms of the storage the Xiaomi Mi 6 will have a RAM of 6 GB installed, while the ROM will be available in two options; 64GB and 128GB.

The dual cameras placed on the back of the smartphone are both capable of snapping 12-megapixel images. The front camera on the Mi 6 will be an 8-megapixel snapper. Similarly a dual LED and tone flash is placed right next to the cameras on the curved back side and the official Xiaomi logo.

The right side of the smartphone will be decorated with the power/lock key, while the dual SIM card inserter tray is situated on the left side. The Mi 6 is powered with the help of a 3,350mAh battery. Another plus point is the splash resistant of the cellphone. All this is available for just 2,899 Yuan or $421.
