Facts you would love to know about Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 as it celebrates the world premiere

The world premiere of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 happened at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California. The premiere was attended by the cast and crew of the movie along with other celebrities and actors who turned out to watch and support the movie. While we are still waiting for the movie to hit theatres, here are five cool facts that will make you love the movie more.

Cast Brings Kids to Set
In their respective interviews while promoting the movie, the cast revealed that they brought out their kids to the sets of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. According to Vin Diesel, his kids were more on set than he was and they were excited about it. Director James Gunn was very friendly about hosting the children and played out with them. He would tell them about spoilers and then make them promise to not tell even Vin about them.

He said that Zoe Saldana would take his kids on the set along with hers while he would be shooting for Fast 8 which was also in the same city. Chris Pratt also shared that he took his son to the sets because he wanted him to grow up as he had, loving movies and he also wanted him to be used to the jungle that being a film star’s life was. He admitted that his son has been won over by the behind the camera world as he aspire now to be a director.

Zoe Saldana Almost Died
We have to admit that on the badass scale, Gamora was definitely nearing a ten in the first Guardians of the Galaxy movie. A trained assassin and skilled fighter, the team for Vol. 2 had to amp up her character’s stunts and that is what they did according to Zoe Saldana. She said that the stunt team was very dedicated to doing their job perfectly but there is a scene, even in the trailer where Gamora jumps off a cliff She admitted that she did not listen properly how to use the harness on her ropes when she would jump.

When she jumped, she was so scared because she did not know what to do next that she started screaming in Spanish and refused to reshoot the scene again and Gunn complied.

Five Post Credit Scenes
Marvel has made post credit scenes a thing and audience has stayed throughout the credits to catch that extra bit of extra footage from the movie. In the Guardians of the Galaxy, we saw Thanos deciding to do the job himself and baby Groot dancing in his pot. Director James Gunn confirmed that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 will have five post credit scenes that will punctuate the entire credit roll.

Shooting for Avengers
She might not have done it intentionally so but we were excited to hear when Zoe Saldana said while narrating a stunt story that they have been shooting for the Avengers movie. As we know, the Guardians of the Galaxy are all set to appear in the upcoming Avengers: Infinity Wars and we have already seen Chris Pratt in a behind the scene footage with Robert Downey Jr. and Tom Holland who play Iron Man and Spiderman respectively. Having confirmation from Zoe Saldana that she also did some shooting for Avengers make us speculate what scenes might Gamora be doing in the Avengers?

Awesome Mixtape # 2
One thing that we’re more excited about other than the movie itself is the soundtrack for the movie. Officially titled the Awesome Mixtape # 2, it is the mixtape that Peter Quill’s mother gave to him as her parting gift and it was indicated to serve as the soundtrack for the Guardians of the Galaxy in their next adventure.
