Lotus just revealed the new road version of Lotus Exige Cup 380. According to the company and the latest news, it is the most hardcore road legal Exige delivered by company yet. This surely makes it a special car.

This beauty is regarded as the latest collector’s edition that will be a track targeted model. Any Lotus Exige Cup 380enthusiast will be able to have it in £83,000 only.

The Lotus Exige Cup 380 will super-fast. It will have the ability to go from 0-62mph in mere 3.4 seconds which is pretty impressive for a road legal car. The company has made significant efforts to reduce its weight which has resulted in shedding 1057kg. This weight reduction was achieved by using carbon fiber in most of the place.

Thus new Lotus Exige Cup 380 is 62kg lighter than that of track only version. It will run on a 3.5 liter V6 turbocharged engine. It is also used In the Sport 380 which is the track only version of Lotus Exige Cup 380. The car will have a torque of 375bhp.

Lotus Exige Cup 380 will have the top speed of 175mph. The weight saving and down force of 200kg has made it an ideal car to handle. It has great aerodynamics which is again pretty cool to make the car speed up on roads.

It will be available in four kinds of drive modes. These will include Drive, Sport, and Race and Off modes. The Sport, Race and Off modes will increase the acceleration by lowing the sensitivity of car and fettling the exhaust back pressure.

According to AutoCar, we won’t see a convertible Lotus Exige Cup 380 in the future.
