The iPhone 8, aka 10th anniversary iPhone is a new flagship smartphone that will sit above the new iPhone 7S. The iPhone 8 is rumored to have an 5.8" edge-to-edge OLED display and a new design. Apple will release three new iPhones this fall and not just two. At least this is the current consensus of the rumor mill.

Today an iPhone 8 dummy leaked. Designer and leaker Benjamin Geskin shared photos of what he says is a CNC dummy sourced from Foxconn, Apple's manufacturing partner for the iPhone.

The alleged CNC model of the iPhone 8 shows black glass on the front and back. The frame is polished metal. The design has retro feel to it, reminding on the iPod. The dual camera is as leaked before aligned vertical. The photos of the dummy do not reveal how small the bezel in the iPhone 8 is going to be. The dummy does not include a screen. It does though not have the stupid fingerprint scanner on the rear shell.

The leaked dummy suggests that Apple will succeed to have a fingerprint scanner integrated in the screen. There is no home button in the design. If this dummy is really showing the final design of the iPhone 8 is not known. It could be an early prototype or even a design Apple will or has dismissed.

The iPhone 8 is supposed to be released in late 2017. It could be the most expensive iPhone ever. The internal technology is expected to be similar to the new iPhone 7S. iPhone 8 specifications include A11 CPU, 5.8" OLED display, 3D sensing front camera, wireless charging, IP86 waterproof and more.
