The upcoming Ferrari 488 GTO is supposed to rival an insanely impressive Porsche 911 GT2. According to AutoCar, the Ferrari 488 GTO will actually be a 700bhp version of the GTB 488.

According to the experts the Ferrari 488 GTO is going to be one of the most powerful sports cars with a V8 engine when it will be finished. The car will be built in Maranelllo.

We are looking forward to see this track focused Ferrari 488 GTO which is another version of 488 GTB, to become a replacement of a discontinued car. We are certain that it will be the replacement of the famous 458 Speciale which was discontinued earlier. It was regarded as the best track focused car made by Ferrari.

The Ferrari 488 GTO will be built on the same platform as that of 488. However its chassis will get more focused tweaks and its structure will be made light Wight to improve the speed.

Experts are suggesting that its performance will be on par to that of upcoming Porsche 911 GT2. The 911 GT2 is an immensely powerful car with highly impressive features to look forward too. It will also have a V8 engine.

The Ferrari 488 GTO will get GTB’s twin turbo charged 3.9 liter V8 engine. However this engine will get modification for GTO and we will see an enhanced performance. It is being anticipated that it will come with a power of 700bhp. The Ferrari 488 GTO is supposed to get a new software Side Slip Angle Control as well.
