The vehicle was spotted testing in the wild and we are pretty sure it’s the upcoming 2018 Land Rover Range Rover

The Land Rover Range Rover Velar made its official debut two months back. Now it looks like the company is off to launch a new high performance version of Velar as well. The upcoming prototype Land Rover Range Rover Velar SVR was spotted by Auto Blog’s spy photographer.

The vehicle that was spotted was heavily camouflaged but we are able to make out a number of features that will be adorning this vehicle. By the looks of it, it definitely looks like the SVR variant or any other high performance trim by Land Rover.

2018 Land Rover Range Rover Velar SVR is pretty much devoid of all the bulges and vents that are usually seen in a Range Rover or in a high performance vehicle. However it looks like the fact, that it will be due to fact that is a prototype and we might see some of them in final version.

The main grille and lower bumper looks pretty much the same. The camo might be hiding a large vent in the body of car. However we are certainly not sure of the fact as the vehicle was pretty dubiously covered.

The Land Rover can have a faster Velar in a new trim. Other automakers such as Jaguar is supposed to working on a SVR trim as well. We might get to see a Jaguar F-Pace SVR variant in the future.

We are suggesting that this upcoming Land Rover Range Rover Velar SVR will have a 5.0 liter V8 engine. Along with that another variant which will be more powerful might be seen in the SVR variant of Velar. There is a lot that will be disclosed by time.
