It is official. ToysRUs restocks the Nintendo Switch on Friday.

The launch of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on April 28 is also bringing a new wave of Nintendo Switch inventory. We have compiled a list of stores that is offering the Nintendo Switch this week and especially on Friday. One of the stores that was rumored to have the Nintendo Switch back in stock for Friday was ToysRUs. We just received now an official statement from TRU confirming the rumor.

"ToysRUs is celebrating the launch of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe by bringing Nintendo Switch back to store shelves this week. On Friday, April 28, all stores nationwide will have limited inventory of the console. Like our previous inventory drops of this hot item, we recommend that customers get in line at their local store before the doors open at 10am on Friday," the statement received by I4U News reads.

The list of stores that will have the Nintendo Switch in stock on Friday include Best Buy, Target, and the Nintendo Store. We expect that more stores will announce to restock the Nintendo Switch for the Mario Kart 8 launch.

The Nintendo Switch continues to be a hard to find item. The supply has slowed down in past days, but gets a big push this week. Note that Amazon Prime members can still save 20% on Mario Kart 8 Deluxe for Nintendo Switch.

The new Nintendo Switch launched on March 3 and as expected, it sold out on launch day. Nintendo's comments that there would be enough Switch consoles in March to satisfy demand turned out to be untrue. Nintendo now plans to double the production of the Nintendo Switch. The company plans to make 16 million Switch consoles starting April 1 until March 2018. The original plan was to produce 8 million Switch consoles.

Nintendo announced to have sold over 900,000 Switch consoles in March. The Switch is the fastest selling console in Nintendo's history. To find a Nintendo Switch in stock on Easter, read our updated Nintendo Switch Easter Shopping Guide.

It might take Nintendo until Fall to make enough Switch consoles to satisfy demand. The Nintendo Switch will be one of the most popular Holiday gifts for the Holiday shopping season 2017. Sony and Microsoft will have a hard time to battle the Switch in Holiday sales.

The Nintendo Switch is a completely new video game concept. It's a mobile console first with removable small controllers. The mobile unit with display rests in a Nintendo Switch console connected to your TV.

The mobile unit slides inside the Switch docking station, where it also gets charged. The small controllers that are detachable from the mobile unit also slide onto a home controller.

The Nintendo Switch games sell for $59.99 like the games for the PS4 and Xbox One. The Nintendo Switch game line-up includes Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Nintendo killed region locking on the Nintendo Switch. Any game sold in any region is playable on the Nintendo Switch.

The system includes the main console, Joy-Con (L) and Joy-Con (R) controllers, a Joy-Con grip (to which two Joy-Con are attached and used as one controller), a set of Joy-Con wrist straps, a Nintendo Switch dock (which holds the main console and connects it to a TV), an HDMI cable and an AC adapter. Two versions of the system are available: a version with a set of gray Joy-Con, and a version with one neon blue and one neon red Joy-Con.
