Google Maps Now Helps You Remember Where You Parked Your Car
  • Now Google Maps has a Feature that Will Allow you to Trace your Parked Vehicle

Now for the first time, Google Maps has a feature that will allow you to trace your parked vehicle in a crowded parking lot.

While some solely enjoy the journey, others are more intent on reaching the destination. We say to each his own. Currently, Google Maps for Android and iOS will not only help you get going wherever it is you want to go but also remember where you parked your car. It works in a simple and straightforward manner.

For those who have Android facility, they just need to tap the blue dot and then click on “Save your Parking”. This will add your location to the map’s complexity.

A label will appear on the map pinpointing your car’s location. Once you click on that label, your parking card will open at once. Here you can easily add additional details regarding your parked car.

Such perfunctory notes as “level 3, spot 35” can be easily tagged onto the rest of the information on the parking label. Thus the time left till the parking meter expires and an alarm reminder that goes off 15 minutes beforehand will be the ideal solution to your car parking hassles.

Furthermore, individuals can save images of their parking spot and send their exact parking location to friends they are supposed to hook up with. On iOS, the procedure is similar with a few key differences.

You tap on the blue dot and then click on the “Set as Parking Location”. This will add your parking spot on the complex map. Then you click a few more times in order to open a parking card and share the information and parking lot pictures with friends.

If you connect to your car via USB audio or bluetooth, your parking spot will be added to the map terrain when you leave your car and disconnect from your device.

Thanks to Google Maps, you obtain guidance and information well beyond both the journey and the destination. Parking becomes as easy as apple pie and you do not need to engage in mnemonic games in order to remember where you parked your car in the first place.
