A compilation of alleged reports ranging from the latest Ferrari to eve a flying car

When it comes to new cars and their specifications rumor can be aplenty. Usually not even an ounce of solid evidence is present to support these rumors but still these reports exist. What’s even more surprising is these reports are often true. So let us take a look at all the newly emerged reports which claim to know all about the happenings in the motor world.

Will Ferrari release a GTO version of the 488 GTB?
Since the 1960s, Ferrari has only created three GTO vehicles. So to some it might come as a surprise that Ferrari is considering making a GTO version of the 488 GTB. Is the car even special enough to deserve the GTO trim?

If the 488 GTO does come into existence it will most probably lose the much unwanted weight and simultaneously be equipped with more power. The3.9-liter twin-turbo V8 engine will also be modified so that it doesn’t cave when the increased turbo boost is initiated. If all this is possible the new GTO will be able to make 700 horsepower, more than any GTO ever before.

Are ItalDesign and Airbus making a flying car?
ItalDesign and Airbus may be entering into a collaboration to make a futuristic flying car. The reveal of the collaboration will probably take place at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show. But before we get excited and start imagining cars with wings let us clear out the main concept in works.

The car will reportedly have a detachable cabin capsule which will be mounted atop a chassis. Normally the car would just be autonomous but in rush hour situations a flying drone comes to the vehicle. The drone will first locate the car then hoist it and then fly it away.

Lexus will not be making GS vehicles after 2018!
After the manufacturing cycle of the current Lexus GS model stops there will be no more of them. It has been reported Lexus is serious about not continuing the GS line. Although officially no such report has been confirmed but Russians at Auto Review claim the GS line will be replaced by the ES line.

The ES line-up belongs to the same segment however it is positioned differently and its design is based on a front-wheel-drive. The ES is also affordable to develop and selling quite well in Russia. Similarly the GS line failed to reach its sales goal therefore it will not be continued.

Mercedes AMG Project One to have 1,020 horsepower!
The latest hypercar on the block may be able to wipe out the days of the likes of LaFerrari, 918 Spyder, and P1. The Mercedes-AMG Project One which is slated to be featured at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show is the first of the new generation of cars.

So far Mercedes has only revealed three details about the new AMG. Firstly it will have overcome its 1,000 PS mark, secondly it will be a hyper hybrid car and thirdly the front wheels will have an all-electric propulsion.

A new unknown source has claimed the hybrid car will have not one, not two, butfour electric motors. The motors will produce 408 horse powers while the 1.6-liter turbo V6 turbo engine will produce 748 horsepower.

Volvo’s EV could be built in China?
Volvo has been prepping itself to come up with an electric car. According to Automotive News Europe, Volvo will be making some major announcements at the upcoming Auto Shanghai 2017. This could mean Volvo will build its EV concept in China. More specifically the EV will be manufactured in Luqiao.
