After Red Tint And Random Reboot, Samsung Galaxy S8/S8+ Now Faces Burn-in Issue

Samsung’s Galaxy S8 has started to take off to the legend’s level. There have been a few problems which will be easily fixed through software updates. But hey, which phone doesn’t have that kind of start? Although it seems that the Galaxy S8 is heading to another potential nightmare for Samsung.

You though the wireless charging issues and unexpected reboots are nasty, there might be more. Korea Herald published about a complain posted by a Galaxy S8 owner on a Korean forum. The owner posted a photo of his Galaxy S8 which had a burn-in on the screen.

Korea Herald takes it that the burn-in has occurred where the pressure-sensitive key is present. Samsung had taken necessary measures to prevent this burn-in issue.

The virtual Home Button stays on the screen even when the phone is locked. Another owner of Galaxy S8 asked on Twitter if the Always On Display could be the reason of a burn-in. surely, the concern was dismissed by Samsung’s regional office.

Samsung already has a statement on the matter, saying that special measures have been taken to avoid these kind of burn-ins, also that there have been no such complains except the one in concern.
