Apparently, the Brabham brand is to go ahead and arrange for the supercar debut of the Force India F1 team.

Plans are underway for a Brabham-branded supercar that would have its debut program under the auspices of the Formula 1 team. The Force India F1 team will be purchased by this brand.

According to AutoCar, this is not due to any defects or flaws in the team, but rather due to the fact that its owners are facing financial issues in both England and India at present. Vijay Mallya was arrested recently in England over certain charges that involved a number of loopholes of the law.

While Mallya was released soon after his arrest, he still faces an extradition hearing in the near future. His business partner in India is in hot water too. Neither of them can long continue the modern thrilling tradition of racing cars and speed games.

Formula 1 requires somewhere between 200 million pounds and 270 million pounds, therefore selling it has been a difficult process. Who in his right mind would want to part with such a hefty sum of cash.

Yet recently it came about that a bidder has laid down 150 million pounds as the rate at which he is willing to buy the brand team. Furthermore, this rate may be negotiable.

The move to a franchise model may be helpful in the bidding game regarding this team. Were this to occur, the value of the team would go sky high. The Brabham deal has US investors lending it a whole lot of support.

David Brabham is a Formula One driver who claims that this is a lucrative project that just might lie in the cards. His brand which is also called Brabham has a heritage of racing sports cars on the track at some of the fastest speeds on the face of the planet.

According to CarScoops, Brabham has become a familiar name by now. Its brand-building sure has paid off in scads. The future looks bright for this company. With 69 years of racing history behind it, the Brabham brand is popular and famous to boot.

According to Carkeys while all this is still in its nascent phases and in a potential form, it just might flower in the future in a beautiful manner.

It seems that with the owners of Force India F1 team in a tangle with the law, the Brabham brand just may make that costly purchase since it will surely pay off in ever-increasing dividends in the times to come.
