BMW i3 Carbon Edition Actually Looks Good

BMW's ugliest car looks acceptable in this special edition.

Every time I see a BMW i3 on the streets, I throw up a little. The electric car usually features a dual color chassis that is just ugly. BMW unveiled the BMW i3 Carbon Edition today which makes the i3 look quite decent. The Carbon Black paint job hides the some of the unpleasing lines of the car.

Other features of the BMW i3 Carbon edition include 20" wheels, glass roof, tinted windows, acoustic pedestrian protection, parking assistant package and Harman Kardon sound system.

If you like the look of this BMW i3, you will have to move to the Netherlands. BMW only makes the BMW i3 Carbon edition available there in limited quantities. I am pretty sure BMW fans outside the Netherlands would also appreciate the Carbon Edition.

BMW intruded the 5-door electric car in 2014. The 2017 BMW i3 94Ah has an improved 33 kWh battery pack with a range of up to 114 miles under the EPA cycle and 190 miles under the NEDC test. BMW offers a range extender option that improves range to 180 miles under EPA. The BMW i3 is the third most popular electric car in the world. 65,000 cars have been sold as of end of 2016.
