NES Classic Stock Surfaces Again at Walmart, Target and GameStop

The Nintendo NES Classic is not sold out yet. Here is where shoppers can find it in May.

The discontinued NES Classic Edition can still be found in stock on May 9th. More stores than in past days are flagged again to have the NES Classic Edition in stock. This thing just won't die. Officially the NES Classic Edition is history, according to a Nintendo statement, but retailers are still getting new inventory.

Today there are 62 Walmart stores and 22 Target stores and 4 GameStop stores flagged to have the NES Classic in stock as of 3:30am ET. The number of stores has increased again. It is unclear where these NES Classic units are still coming in. Most consumers have stopped hunting for a NES Classic, making it easier for the remaining die-hards to score a NES when it is in stock. This is only true if they are lucky enough to live next to a store that received a NES shipment.

Update: One NES hunter is truly lucky. One of the few Target stores that received a NES Classic today is in Mentor, OH. The store received one unit verified by a comment on nowinstock. As said above, it is wierd that these low volume (one!) shipments still arrive at stores.

NES hunters can check iStockNow for the latest stock updates as well as BrickSeek for Target and Walmart stores. To find NES Classic at ToysRUs stores, shoppers have to visit their local store to find out.

Reseller prices for the NES Classic have dropped despite the end of the NES. The lowest priced Nintendo NES Classic console sells for $237.99 plus shipping on amazon.com.

The reseller prices have been over $300 early April, right after the announcement that Nintendo stops making the NES Classic. Find all NES Classic offers and auctions on ebay.com as well as all marketplace offers on amazon.com. NES Classic Edition are cheaper on ebay.com at the moment.
