Big Amazon Devices Sale Marks Echo Show Launch

Amazon customers can save on several Amazon Devices on the Echo Show launch day.

Amazon will unveil the new $229.99 Echo Show today, May 9. As with past product launches, Amazon is having a sale to mark the occasion. There are several Amazon devices on sale in celebration of the upcoming Echo Show pre-order launch. Amazon has not officially announced the new Echo Show yet, but a leaked document makes a strong case for the Echo Show launch on Tuesday.

The Amazon Devices deals are just another argument for the imminent launch of the Echo with touchscreen. The Amazon devices on sale include the Echo, Fire HD 8 tablet, Fire tablet, Kindle Paperwhite, Kindle, Kindly Voyage, Dash buttons and more.

The discounts are considerable and are close to the deals that we expect for Amazon Prime Day 2017 in July. The Amazon Fire HD 8 with Alexa is 28% off, selling for $64.99. The Amazon Echo is off $30, selling for $149.99. The Amazon Kindle Paperwhite, Kindle Voyage and Kindle ebook reader are each off $20.

The Fire tablet with 16GB sells for $59.99 instead of $69.99. Amazon also offers several Kindle and Fire tablet bundles in today's Amazon devices sale.

Jeff Bezos's little online book store has become a consumer electronics powerhouse. The depth of the gadget offering is starting to be mind boggling. Last month Amazon launched the Echo Look and this month the Echo Show joins the line-up.

Amazon is expected to start taking pre-orders for the new Echo Show at around 8am PDT on amazon.com. The $229.99 Echo Show features a 7-inch touchscreen and supports video and voice calls. The Echo Show also offers a new voice guides shopping experience.
