The E3 gaming expo is almost upon us. Gamers are finding out new details about the event every day. Tech companies and game developers will be holding conferences. New hardware will be released. New games will be launched. And updated versions of popular games will see their latest installment.

One such latest installment in of Kingdom Heart. Kingdom Hearts III is scheduled to make it’s appearance on E3. The series is reportedly in development for Xbox and PlayStation 4.

According to Gamezone, April Square Enix released a report that claimed that Kingdom Hearts III along with Final Fantasy 7 Remake had been pushed back to 2018 and later. However, the news that Kingdom Hearts III will be making an appearance at E3 assures fans that the game will release sooner than expected.

Kingdom Hearts 3 game director Tetsuya Nomura shed some light on the developments. According to WCCF, he said that there are still some issues that are in development. The reports also predict that the game is set to release in 2018.

According to Nomura, the 2018 release date allows them to go without and development issues. That means that by the time that the game will release, major development issues will have been taken care of. This will also ensure that there are no additional delays in the game’s release.

The Square Enix’saction role-playing game has been invested in by Disney. The studios want Square Enix to release the game as soon as possible. That might be the reason that gamers have been given a 2018 release date.
