  • Need for Speed New Game Announced to Release This Year

Need for Speed is set to release this year and developers Ghost Games and EA are making improvements you would love

Ghost Games just announced that the new Need for Speed will be revealed at the EA PLAY event on June 2. The developers released the news along with a trailer which showcases some new features. There is daytime racing which is different from 2015 Need for Speed nighttime racing.

In other reveals by Ghost Games on official Need for Speed blog, the new Need for Speed will feature dirt roads. The previous version was road and pavements only. The expected improvement with this development is appearance of more vehicles like trucks.

Police pursuits are also reported to make a return in the new edition. The customization options for the cars are also back which made the game a fan favorite in the first place.

The biggest improvement has to be the online feature. In the previous two versions of the game, Need for Speed Rivals and 2015 Need for Speed; you needed to be online. There was no way to play offline.

Gamers complained about the feature. They gave feedback to Ghost Games and EA to take some action. It looks like they did. Gamers will be able to play Need for Speed offline now as well.

They can also pause the game when they want to. It is an added feature. Another added feature is single player mode. Now a single player can play the game too.

Ghost Games reps have expressed some reservations. They said that pausing the game and single player mode will open new errors. They will be within a scope of development though.

The reps are excited about the latest game though. In a statement, one of them said that they were delighted with it. He said that they were opening up a whole world of racing with old and new features that would delight the gamers.
