  • NVIDIA Launches Revolutionary Volta GPU Platform, Fueling Next Era of AI and High Performance Computing

NVIDIA has introduced its cool and classic Volta GPU system. Thus it has lent impetus to AI and superformativity for the future.

NVIDIA today launched Volta which is the most powerful GPU computing architecture. It is meant to fuel the next generation of AI and high performance computers. Also the company’s first Volta-based processor, is here. Not only is it quicker than the rest but has a ton of other cool features.

Artificial intelligence is the engine behind several advances taking place in the world today. Intelligent systems will undergo automation thanks to this scheme.

The implications are as mind-boggling as those brought into the world through the Industrial Revolution which took place earlier. Deep learning is what this is all about. AI will change the very meaning of living systems as we envision them to be.

"Artificial intelligence is driving the greatest technology advances in human history," said Jensen Huang, founder and chief executive officer of NVIDIA, who unveiled Volta at his GTC keynote. "It will automate intelligence and spur a wave of social progress unmatched since the industrial revolution.

"Deep learning, a groundbreaking AI approach that creates computer software that learns, has insatiable demand for processing power. Thousands of NVIDIA engineers spent over three years crafting Volta to help meet this need, enabling the industry to realize AI's life-changing potential," he said.

NVIDIA’s GPU architecture is built with 21 billion transistors. It gives a usage-power amounting to 100 CPUs. According to NVIDIA, "It provides a 5x improvement over Pascal, the current-generation NVIDIA GPU architecture, in peak teraflops, and 15x over the Maxwell architecture, launched two years ago. This performance surpasses by 4x the improvements that Moore's law would have predicted."

The acceleration of AI is in great demand today. Many developers, data workers and scientists depend on neural networks to help their fields advance alongside the rest of the professions of the world.

NVIDIA will be offering new software tools on its platform as well. These will run with greater efficacy on its hardware equipment. Thus NVIDIA is specializing and it still has a long way to go.

Not to find solutions to its problems but to find problems in its solutions is the goal of NVIDIA. The world want’s deep learning and if that is what it wants, that is what it will get.

The announcement of Volta products and the GPU architecture from NVIDIA showed that the times were definitely changing. NVIDIA will do what has to be done to get its desired deal in the world of technology.

The internal architecture at NVIDIA has changed altogether from what it used to be. It now has new cores instead of the old ones. These are titled Tensor Cores.

Some rather extremely complex machinations exist in the intricate machinery of NVIDIA. That just goes to show you that it is not an ordinary company. It deals in the best.

This is consciousness regarding technology and all things technical raised to the highest degree. Some of the language regarding what is going on in NVIDIA’s products needs a virtual jargon translator to even begin to be comprehensible.
