Apple Website Adds How to Shoot on iPhone 7 Video Lessons

Apple Inc. has posted YouTube tutorials on how to use its iPhone camera.

Apple is trying a different route this time around on its YouTube account. Instead of tooting its horn regarding its iPhone 7 camera, it is giving lessons on how to actually use the camera.

The video clips last less than a minute each and they focus on the nitty gritty stuff having to do with photography. The way portraits are shot and panoramas captured are dealt with in the videos.

Also shooting a photo in dim light is taken into consideration. According to The Verge, although only newbie photographers will benefit from these tutorials, there are a great many such people who do not know the first thing about photography.

Even though Apple has touted its iPhone camera a lot, the main plus points of the camera have vanished with the passage of the years.

The iPhone has lost its edge when it comes to photography. Other brands such as LG’s G6, Samsung’s Galaxy S8 and Google’s Pixel have beaten Apple at its own game.

According to Apple Insider, Apple has also added a new page to its website titled: “How to Shoot on iPhone 7”. The content consists of 17 brief video clips lasting 40 seconds in duration each.

These tutorials cover a wide expanse of topics regarding iPhone photography. The videos are best seen on the iPhone itself since that way you save up on time while taking those snapshots.

The way each video takes the iPhone owner step-by-step through the process of taking more clearer and focused images is truly a brilliant move by Apple. Among some of the things that are explained by the tutorials may be included: close-up shots, action shots with burst mode and selfies.

Even selfie-editing exists somewhere in the mix. Also taking a still picture while shooting a video clip is demonstrated for the sake of novices. Apple has also offered myriad tips in these videos about spicing up the pictures.

The use of singular angles and photographing scenes during the golden hour are among the tips. Images that are elegantly simple and stand out with backlit facility have been discussed too.

According to MacRumors, Apple has uploaded its tutorials to both its novel website and YouTube. Currently there are only five video clips. With the passage of time the rest of the dozen or so video clips will be added to the bunch. One of the videos shows how to shoot pictures in streetlights.
