  • Google’s Allo Service converts Selfies into Personalized Emojis

It so happens to be the case that Google’s Allo Chat app converts selfies into personalized emojis. This new feature uses neural networks and the artist Lamar Abrams designs to turn your selfie into a personalized emoji.

If you want to show an emoji to your pals in the future, you may want to also show them how you are doing at that particular moment in time.

Google is planning on allowing you to use such a facility to accomplish just that. Its chat app Allo will enable custom-made emojis using the face of the mobile owner as a basic unit.

This process relies on neural networks and a database of cool stuff made by artists to turn your selfie into an individualized sticker pack. This is the newest feature to arrive on the Allo chat app.

Allo happened to be the first platform to showcase the Google Assistant. The art of converting selfies into emojis is not exactly child’s play. It involves a lot of computer magic via sophisticated technology.

Neural networking is based on the workings of the human brain. It brings solutions to new problems via a record of the solutions applied in the past. Some of the combination of emojis and selfies gave a weird feeling to the onlookers when they saw them for the first time.

This stuff is AI-powered and not as easy as it appears in its final form. Basically your selfie will be matched with the database illustrations made by professional artists.

The accuracy of matching the portraits, one real and the other fake, was where the crux of the matter lay. Color, shape and texture are also adjusted in the context of the app.

The sort of complex technology that went into this setup is not to be found on the streets. It has been invented and streamlined by computer scientists and hard-working technicians to lend the best in terms of magical effects to the users.

The Allo's new feature will present some new surprises as time moves on. As for the emojis and selfies in combination, they allow you to have hours of fun rearranging everything about your face. This is indeed human technology that has entertainment value somewhere at its core.

The service begins starting from today and soon enough everyone will be using it with zest and gusto. It is a naughty makeover of the 80s “Identikit” toy where you composed faces using basic deconstructed features in a large number of permutations.
