  • Toyota Motors is finally willing to give Flying Vehicles a Chance

Toyota Motors is finally willing to give the idea of flying vehicles a chance. In fact, they just might become a regular trend in the future.

Toyota has full plans to finance a flying car project. Some of its youthful workers have been working on precisely this concept since awhile back.

Flying cars have attracted a lot of scrutiny from the public as both car-makers and aeronautical companies have jumped on this hybrid invention bandwagon. Flight for vehicles has emerged as a trend that just might become common one fine day in the future.

The project was spearheaded by a group called Cartivator. It all started half a decade ago with the leader of this posse winning a business challenge. Also a drone-maker lent some help to this project.

Toyota is ready to lend $352,982 to Cartivator in this regard, reports The Nikkei Asian Review. The group wants to engage in a manned test flight by the time 2018 arrives.

Propellers will be used in the overall technological repertoire. By the time the year 2020 rolls in, a flying vehicle will be ready just in time for the Tokyo Olympics.

The only issue seems to be the pollution produced by these flying cars. Yet once the roads are emptied of cars, traffic jams will be a thing of the past. However, it is not all peaches and cream.

The safety standards will have to be seen to in the skies. There are a whole different set of rules and regulations that will apply to flying cars. The Cartivator group has faced many hurdles in its progress.

Flying cars are a crazy idea but they just might work provided some ingenious minds put two and two together. Whatever the case, the future may be radically different from the current scenario of long lines of cars on the roads. It might consist of the sky being full of vehicles that go hither and thither.

With the backing provided by Toyota Motors, the development of flying cars may pan out in the future. Cartivator had been dependent upon crowd-funding sources up until now. All of that has changed with funding from Toyota Motors.

Many other companies are also in neck to neck competition with Cartivator to make a flying car. These include among their ranks: AeroMobil, PAL-V International, Google, Airbus and last but not least the taxicab service known as Uber.
