  • Brand New Volvo and Audi Vehicles will Arrive with Built-In Android OS

Some of the brand new Volvo and Audi vehicles from the brand makers will arrive on the scene with built-in Android function.

Audi and Volvo are committed to Google after a promise that Android function will be an inherent part of their cars from now onwards.

Instead of using a smartphone to interact with the car, now the Android Auto software from Google will be intrinsically built into the very structure of the cars. A large number of Android apps will be applicable on this platform.

Even Google Maps will be one of the features in these vehicles. Drivers of these cars may adjust the air conditioners, sunroofs and windows from the same region in the front seats of these cars.

As is written on Engadget, ever since the days of Nougat, Google has been floating Android as a viable software alternative. Car-makers can definitely benefit from this platform of Google.

Google also has its developer conference which is about to take place soon. So developers will be wanted by Google on this occasion. Google paraded a Maserati that ran Android software in 2016. Google is in a class of its own.

The all-new branded infotainment systems are simply the best. Google does not leave anything to chance. The Google iOS will run the touchscreens and digital dashboards of the cars. Audi is believed to have the Audi Q8 Sport car among its repertoire.

A report by The Verge says that the final shot by Google is such that it will provide all services under the sunroof of the vehicle. Google has also declared that its Android service will be an open source one. This facility by Google will not be excluding Appleā€™s CarPlay. That feature will remain a constant on the platform.

Besides all this a trio of Mercedes-Benz cars are said to also support Android Auto. These include among their ranks: the 2017 SL, 2017 GLS and 2017 SLC. As AndroidhHeadlines reports the fleet of cars will be coming to the showrooms in the near future. They will feature modified versions of the Android iOS.
