  • New Indie Event Scheduled to Be Held by Devolver Digital at E3 2017

New Indie Event picnic announced to be held by Devolver Digital free of charge to everyone at E3 2017

As all gamers around the world know by now that the E3 gaming expo is scheduled to take place this June. The tickets for the event have already sold out reportedly.

Big and small time game developers will be holding press conferences at the event. They will showcase their gaming ventures. Sequels to games will return. Gaming hardware and modules will make their appearance.

However, we have the latest scoop on the action that will be going on next to the E3. Recently, the news circulated that Devolver Digital will be hosting an event of their own at this year’s E3. It will not be a press conference or a typical showcase. Devolver Digital is going all out to host an all-new “indie party”.

The party will be held across the road from the Los Angeles Convention Center. The indie party will take place in the parking lot. So, while all the companies will be inside on their scheduled timings, Devolver will be partying hard outside.

The party is scheduled to rage on every day of the E3. That means that it will be alive and kicking each day of the E3 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

If you’re wondering how much this party is gonna cost you? The answer is free. The party is free for all E3 ticket holders. If you’re an owner of a ticket to the E3, then you can stop by the Indie party anytime you want and as many times as you want.

Furthermore, the event is going to include the Devolver Public Access area which will include choice music, food trucks, cold beverages, an indie arcade by Polycade, and carnival games with prizes provided by Special Reserve Games.

The party is set to offer a hand-selected roster of awesome indie game demos from Devolver Digital and companies like Indie MEGABOOTH, X-Split, and Gambitious.

NVIDIA, Logitech and Alienware will be sponsoring the hardware for the event. Devolver’s usual by-appointment-only game demo area will still be located in the back lot.
