ToysRUs restocks the Nintendo Switch on Friday, May 19. Updated.

The Nintendo Switch is available as bundle deals online at GameStop and Target. To find a $299.99 Nintendo Switch console in stock is impossible online and rather difficult in stores. The good news is that there is new Nintendo Switch sale at ToysRUs stores this week. On Friday, May 19, ToysRUs restocks the $299.99 Nintendo Switch in limited quantities.

Update: Read live updates from the Nintendo Switch Sale at ToysRUs stores.

"Nintendo Switch is returning to store shelves at Toys“R”Us this week! On Friday, May 19, all Toys“R”Us stores nationwide will have a limited inventory of the super-hot console. Much like our previous Nintendo Switch inventory drops, we recommend that customers get in line before doors open on Friday morning for a chance to purchase," ToysRUs told I4U News in a statement.

ToysRUs stores open at 10am local time on Friday. Lines will start early hours before, depending how popular the ToysRUs location is. The demand for the Switch is not as crazy anymore as it has been a couple weeks ago, but there will be people that line up before dawn. The market prices for the Nintendo Switch are still about $100 above retail, which keeps the Nintendo Switch interesting for scalpers.

Friday is a big day to score the Nintendo Switch. Shoppers who lose out on the ToysRUs Switch sale can try to buy the Nintendo Switch at 5pm online at the Walmart Online shop.

The last time ToysRUs restocked the Nintendo Switch was on Friday, April 28. To find your local ToysRUs store visit ToysRUs is not going to sell the Nintendo Switch online on Friday.

Nintendo sold 280,000 Nintendo Switch consoles in April, making it top the video game hardware charts for the second month in a row. If Nintendo would be able to satisfy demand, the sales numbers would be considerably higher.

Besides ToysRUs, Walmart is expected to sell the Nintendo Switch again on Friday. The giant retailer is offering the Switch in flash sales on Fridays at 5pm ET. Download our new online stock tracker app The Tracker to get notified about new Nintendo Switch inventory.

Nintendo is ramping up the production for the Nintendo Switch, but has not disclosed what the current production capacity per month is. The only number the company made official is the production volume over the next 12 months. 10 million Switch consoles are planned to enter retail channels until end of April 2018. The demand for the Nintendo Switch will spike during the Holiday Shopping season 2017. Nintendo will set aside a large part of the Switch production during the next months for November and December. This stock piling will keep the Nintendo Switch in short supply during the next 5 months.

As Nintendo coordinated new Switch console shipment with the launch of Mario Kart 8, we expect the company to do the same for the next major Switch game launches. This means the next big wave of new Switch consoles comes in mid-June for the release of ARMS.

There are also several new accessories coming on the market from Nintendo in the next weeks. See the full list of new Nintendo Switch accessories.
