Review of the bargain fidget spinners sold directly out of China on eBay and Amazon.

Fidget Spinners are the hottest toy craze with millions of these things getting sold. Stores can't keep them on the shelves. At this point it feels like most kids in America own at least one of these spinning fidget toys. There is no big brand that is owning the toy. It is a very different toy hype than for instance the Hatchimals have been last Holidays. Chinese manufacturers are responsible for most fidget spinners on the market.

I decided to find out if these fidgets spinners selling for about $2 with free shipping are any good. These spinners, for instance listed Amazon under the GongFu Star brand, are shipping directly from China. The low price requires to have patience. It took three weeks until the bargain fidget spinners arrived from China.

I ordered two spinners in white and they look like any other of the common three pronged fidget spinner. The are three metal bushings in addition to the one in the middle. In case the bushing in use is wearing out, another bushing can be popped into its place. Parents need to be aware that the bushings on the spinner arms pop out. Once removed they are health hazard for young kids as these bearing are small enough to be swallowed.

The GongFu Star spinners do feel solid and spin well. Depending at which angle I hold them, the spinning noise becomes though apparent. There are definitely more quite spinners on the market. The spin time is well over a minute every time. For a $2 spinner that is alright. More expensive spinners can reach over 10 minutes.

Are the GongFu Star fidget spinners from China recommendable? These spinner are great for just trying out fidget spinners. The are also great for casual use and just be part of the "movement." For 2 bucks, you get a working fidget spinner. The only big drawback is the weeks of wait for the spinners to arrive. Find these GongFu Star fidget spinners on

There is a lot of controversy around fidget spinners and schools have started to ban them in classrooms.
