  • Tesla Model 3 Production Targets Don’t Seem Believable to Analysts

Tesla has showcased the very first photograph of its Model 3 shell in a white hue.

A great many photos of Tesla Model 3 released prototypes have been featuring on the web in recent times. Although Tesla hasn’t got its act together just yet, the Model 3 body-in-white was released for public perusal today.

While a picture of the chassis underwent leakage earlier in 2017, this time the structure is being shown to the public. According to Electrek, Tesla has also renewed its body shop scheme to manage and slash the price of the Model 3.

Online training for technical staff is taking place at Tesla. Model S and Model X manufacturing courses are already available. Tesla has offered a 30% discount on its training program.

The first picture of the Model 3 with its body-in-white was released. The rear end is open which is how it should be like from the trunk side.

Even though the production line is not complete yet, the body line has shown a whole lot of evolution at Tesla Motors. The paint shop for the Model 3 was also wrapped up and finalized a month earlier.

Some critics have spoken up regarding the Tesla Model 3 target drive. They are skeptical about the whole thing. Yet Tesla’s CEO, Elon Musk is fully confident in the reputation of his company.

As Forbes reports the production goals are out of this world as some naysayers have pointed out. This has given rise to speculation to the effect that the company will hook up with another enterprise to finance its production unit.

Tesla is losing money bit by bit, yet its stocks keep going into the stratosphere. While the Model 3 may sell for $35,000, it most probably will have a higher price tag. This could be as high as $45,000.

Over 2000 Model 3’s will be churned out in 2017, next year the number could reach 90,000. By the time 2018 reached its conclusion this selfsame number could go all the way up to 500,000. Morgan Stanley is pretty skeptical about whether Tesla Motors will be able to fulfill its promises in this regard.

Tesla seems overambitious in its plans. Even a supercar brand such as Porsche took upto a decade to reach 100,000 units per year. Can Tesla even match this number or - dare we say it - exceed it? Your guess is as good as mine.
