Samsung Galaxy Note 8 expected to pack a 6.3” display

Being a company which manages on a scale as big as Samsung, it is hard to ever have a day off in the whole year. Samsung has nailed one heck of a job producing an amazing smartphone for the world, the Galaxy S8. Even though a normal person would think that this earns a month’s rest for people over at Samsung, that’s not the case.

The company has already moved on to the development stage of Galaxy Note 8, the higher-end version of Samsung’s current flagship. There have been a lot of rumors about the design and specifications of the smartphone lately.

But the one we are going to discuss is an odd one. A rumor on Weibo suggests that Galaxy Note 8 is going to feature a 6.3” display with the same 18.5:9 aspect ratio that we see in Galaxy S8.

If we ran the numbers, it would be a very odd event that Galaxy Note 8’s display is actually just 0.1 inch bigger than that of Galaxy S8+.

Even if this odd screen size is really true, we can surely expect that Galaxy Note 8 will be nothing like Galaxy S8+, it is going to host a number of performance upgrades compared to the Galaxy S8 duo. The introduction of dual-lens camera on the back is just an example of that.
