Nintendo Switch Splatoon 2 Neon Green and Neon Pink Joy-Con and Pro Controller Editions Break Cover

There will be series of new Nintendo Switch accessories for the release of Splatoon 2.

Nintendo doubled down on new Nintendo Switch accessory announcements today. Yesterday we reported about the unveil of new Switch pouches, privacy screen, book cover and a big all-in bag. Today Nintendo unveiled a series of new Nintendo Switch accessories for the release of Splatoon 2.

There will be new Joy-Con colors with Neon Green and Neon Pink. The Splatoon 2 Joy-Con Edition comes as separate pack, but also part of one of the first official Nintendo Switch bundles. Nintendo unveiled a Nintendo Switch Splatoon 2 bundle. The Splatoon 2 bundle is though more expensive than the stand-alone Switch console. We are not at the point yet where Nintendo throws in free games with a console purchase.

For the first time there is also a colored Nintendo Switch Pro controller. The Nintendo Switch Pro Controller Splatoon 2 Edition has a neon green and neon pink handle.

All Splatoon 2 Nintendo Switch accessories are released on July 21, same day the Splatoon 2 game will be releaesed. So far Nintendo only annnounced the Splatoon 2 Edition gear for Japan and Europe. There is a big chance Nintendo will announced the same accessories at the E3 2017 next month.

The big upcoming Switch games are Arms on June 16 and Splatoon 2 on July 21. Amazon offers pre-order discounts on both of the titles for Prime members to the tune of 20%.

This Friday the Nintendo Dock Set will ship and several more announced Nintendo Switch accessories go on sale in June in the United States.

The Nintendo Switch console continues to be a hard find, but there are options to find one in stock. ToysRUs restocks the Nintendo Switch on Friday in stores and there are four Nintendo Switch bundles on sale online.
