It is being said that the CEO of Apple, Tim Cook personally gauged the novel blood glucose monitor for Apple Watch.

The mild-mannered Tim Cook who happens to be the CEO of Apple was recently seen wearing a prototype gadget. This was none other than the first non-intrusive blood glucose monitor that works in synch with an Apple Watch.

According to CNBC, Tim will monitor the food he eats throughout the day and better manage his sugar levels through the services of this device.

Tim was reported to have said that he had been using this device since the past few weeks. In fact, he spoke of how he only took it off before going someplace on a recent trip.

Whether all this is a rumor or reality remains a tough question to answer. Whatever the case, it could be a sign that the next generation of Apple Watches will have glucose monitors attached to them. This will make life easier for diabetics.

Appleā€™s advanced glucose monitoring technology will be non-invasive. What this means is that it will gauge the sugar levels without penetrating the skin. There will be sensors that will measure glucose levels by literally looking through the skin without breaking it.

Cook has been said to have lost approximately 30 pounds thanks to this device. He became a more active person and also became more careful regarding what he put into his mouth.

This is indeed a unique Apple-inspired solution to diabetes. Tim himself never mentioned that the blood glucose monitor had anything to do with an Apple Watch which would come out in the future. He is a clever man since he did not reveal everything and decided to keep some of the details under wraps.

Therefore all this talk regarding an Apple Watch is mere speculation at present. Apple may also come up with some styleworthy smart bands in the future that will perform a number of functions having to do with health statistics.

The current rumored device will aid individuals in the management of their diabetes symptoms. This they can do by watching their diet and activity levels.

Other than that there is nothing magical about this device. If the flying rumors are anything to go by Apple is looking into health monitoring devices. It will be adding some of these devices in its repertoire in the future.
