GameStop Launches New Nintendo Switch Bundles

The video game retailer GameStop just added two new lower priced bundles.

The Nintendo Switch continues to be hard to find online and in stores. Today ToysRUs is selling the Switch in stores. For people who do not like to line-up, GameStop just released new Switch bundles.

GameStop has been selling Switch bundles online for the past weeks. GameStop sold out of two Switch bundles earlier today, but has now replaced these with new bundles, priced lower.

The Nintendo Switch Neon Mario Kart Race and Protect Bundle, selling for $472.99 includes the Nintendo Switch Console with Neon Red and Blue Joy-Con, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (Physical Game), Nintendo Switch Premium Console Case - Mario Edition, Nintendo Switch ZAGG Invisible Shield One Screen Protector, Nintendo Switch Racing Wheel 2 Pack, Snipperclips (Digital Game), Has-Been Heroes (Digital Game), and Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove (Digital Game).

The Nintendo Switch Gray Zelda Sheikah Eye Starter Kit Bundle, priced at $479.99 includes the Nintendo Switch Console with Gray Joy-Con, Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (Physical Game), Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Expansion Pass (Digital Download), the Nintendo Switch Starter Kit - Zelda Sheikah Eye Edition, Has-Been Heroes (Digital Game), Snipperclips (Digital Game), and Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove (Digital Game).

On Monday Target also started to offer a Nintendo Switch bundle. The $499.99 Nintendo Switch with Gray Joy-Con Starter Bundle contains Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Nintendo Pro controller and a Switch bag. Target has their bundle still in stock.

Shoppers have more options on Friday, May 19 to buy a Nintendo Switch. ToysRUs restocks the Nintendo Switch console in stores this morning.

Walmart is expected to sell the Nintendo Switch again online at 5pm ET. Shoppers can get notified when the sale begins with The Tracker app.

The Nintendo Switch reseller markups keep steady and range today between $85 to $100 for the Nintendo Switch with Gray Joy-Con and $99 to $130 for the Nintendo Switch with Neon Joy-Con on Getting a bundle from an official store makes sense as long as customers wanted to by the bundle games anyway.

Besides GameStop the only known online shop that sells the Nintendo Switch online is Walmart. The giant retailer is offering the Switch in flash sales on Fridays at 5pm ET. Download our new online stock tracker app The Tracker to get notified about new Nintendo Switch inventory.

Nintendo is ramping up the production for the Nintendo Switch, but has not disclosed what the current production capacity per month is. The only number the company made official is the production volume over the next 12 months. 10 million Switch consoles are planned to enter retail channels until end of April 2018. The demand for the Nintendo Switch will spike during the Holiday Shopping season 2017. Nintendo will set aside a large part of the Switch production during the next months for November and December. This stock piling will keep the Nintendo Switch in short supply during the next 5 months.

As Nintendo coordinated new Switch console shipment with the launch of Mario Kart 8, we expect the company to do the same for the next major Switch game launches. This means the next big wave of new Switch consoles comes in mid-June for the release of ARMS.

There are also several new accessories coming on the market from Nintendo in the next weeks. See the full list of new Nintendo Switch accessories.
