Samsung and iPhone deal over OLED panels indicate that the 9th model of iPhone will feature a bigger screen.

Apple is launching the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8+ this year. The Apple product is known for its unique features and screen resolution. It is one of the most anticipated and awaited products in the year 2017.

Along with many new and improved features that Apple has made to the latest iPhone model, it features a 5.8-inch OLED screen. The big screen size is already exciting iPhone enthusiasts.

There seems to be more in store however. In a report by The Bell, a meeting between Samsung and Apple was been discussed. In the report, The Bell revealed that the display-making unit of Samsung Electronics has signed a deal with Apple to provide OLED panels. Samsung display-making unit will reportedly provide Apple with 80 million OLED panels. Given that information, many are led to believe that iPhone is making the screen size of its upcoming phone bigger.

The iPhone 9 which is rumored to release next year is the most hopeful candidate for the size increment. The iPhone 9 will reportedly feature a bigger screen.

According to The Korea Herald, 2018 iPhone 9 will feature 5.28- and 6.46-inch OLDE display sizes. If this is so, then they will be the biggest display sizes to date.

Furthermore, Samsung and Apple have signed a non-disclosure agreement. According to the agreement, the display size of the new product will not be revealed. Apple is also more likely to order the delivery of more OLED panels, a number close to 180 million.

With bigger screen size, the experts believe that the developers at Apple will also tweak other features and settings of the phone. Samsung and Apple have not made any confirmations about the report.
