Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle Nintendo Switch Game First Look

The first artwork of the unannounced Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle Nintendo Switch game surfaced.

Ubisoft is rumored since a while to mashup Mario with the Rabbids in a Nintendo Switch game titled Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. Artwork of the game published by Comicbook confirms the game's existence and gives a first look at the game.

The reveal comes after an initial leak on Twitter of a rabbid in princess peach outfit. Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle for the Nintendo Switch is according to ComicBook's sources making an appearance at the E3 2017 and will be released in August.

Besides the artwork above, internal slides have leaked in the past hours on Twitter with key details of the game. Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle will have four worlds to explore. The slides highlight that Mario gets a weapon for the first time. At the E3 the game will also be available for the first hands-on.

The rabbids will teach Mario some of their quirky humor shown in the Raving Rabbids games. The first rabbids game for the Switch is reportedly some kind of strategy RPG game. This summer will bring new big Switch games without a break. Arms will be released on June 16 and Splatoon 2 on July 21. Amazon offers pre-order discounts on both of the titles for Prime members to the tune of 20%.

E3 2017 will kick off on June 13. The Nintendo E3 2017 event takes place on June 13 at 9am PDT.

The supply constraints of the Nintendo Switch have eased up a bit in past days. The new GameStop Nintendo Switch bundles selling for under $400 are a good indicator for the softened demand. The bundles contain a physical blockbuster game and accessories.

Nintendo is ramping up the production for the Nintendo Switch, but has not disclosed what the current production capacity per month is. The only number the company made official is the production volume over the next 12 months. 10 million Switch consoles are planned to enter retail channels until end of April 2018. The demand for the Nintendo Switch will spike during the Holiday Shopping season 2017. Nintendo will set aside a large part of the Switch production during the next months for November and December. This stock piling will keep the Nintendo Switch in short supply during the next 5 months.

As Nintendo coordinated new Switch console shipment with the launch of Mario Kart 8, we expect the company to do the same for the next major Switch game launches.

There are also several new accessories coming on the market from Nintendo in the next weeks. See the full list of new Nintendo Switch accessories.
