WWDC 2017 Confirmed for June 5 at 10 AM PDT

Everyone can access the WWDC feeds when the event kicks off

Apple has officially confirmed the day and time for WWDC 2017. The date is June 5 and the time is 10 AM PDT. If you can't be at the show and want to see what's happening as it goes down, Apple will be live streaming the event according to MacRumors. The event will be watchable on the Apple website and Apple TV.

This is a change from the first grumblings we heard about the event. Apple had said it would live stream WWDC via the Apple Developer website and through the WWDC app. Those are both available only to developers leaving the typical consumers unable to check it out.

I have to wonder if this change is due to the fact that Apple is expected to unveil several new consumer products at the event. Rumors continue to suggest refreshed MacBooks and possibly the announcement of the new iPhone models.

Other cool things to be talked about at the show will include new versions of iOS, macOS, tvOs,and watchOS. This is the event where we expect to see the new MacBook Air, a refreshed Air is something fans have been demanding for years. Apple had also been rumored to unveil a 10.5-inch iPad Pro at the event and a Siri speaker.

That big 10.5-inch iPad Pro is said to be crammed into a chassis the size of the current 9.7-inch iPad Pro. The Siri Speaker is supposed to fight directly against the Amazon Echo and might have a touchscreen display. We have less than two weeks before the event kicks off and we know all of what Apple has up its sleeves.
