I am still analyzing the aftermath. Lots of people were able to place an order for the SNES Classic, despite the odd time. It appears that Walmart chose a time like late Friday night to avoid a melt down of their online store. We don't think this was an accidental pre-sale as some suggest on social media. Most pre-orders will be valid, as far as we can see right now.

The SNES Classic pre-order inventory at Walmart must have been quite big. It's very likely that the retailer has sold through all SNES Classic inventory until release day September 29.
