GameStop Now Offers $60 Power Pass Game Rental Service for Six Months

GameStop begins its Borrowing Service titled PowerPass Game for $60 for Six Months

The very thought of borrowing videos and taking them home in order to later on return them is pass. However, now this concept is being applied to video games.

GameStop has its eyes on setting up a rental service that will lend video games to gamers at reasonable rates. The service has been labeled as Power Pass and it will have its launch ceremony on the 19th of November.

Previously, the Power Pass program was revealed in the form of an advertisement. Now though we know that it is a reality that will manifest itself soon enough. The way this service operates is really simple. Gamers will have to pay $60 for a half-yearly membership.

During this period, they can swap as many games as they want to. By the time the membership time limit expires, the members can keep one game per individual. But only PowerUp Rewards members can avail this offer.

PowerUp Rewards members can use their GameStop Power Passes to get games both in-store or on their online website. Gamers can play games beforehand and see whether they are worth playing a second time or not.
