Target Buy 2 Get 1 Free Video Game, Board Game and amiibo Sale

Target's annual Buy 2 Get 1 Free Video Game Holiday sale launched on Sunday.

The Target Buy 2 Get 1 Free video game sale is live online at target.com since Sunday. In past years there has been almost no exclusion to this B2G1 video game sale, but this year there is a hurting exception. Nintendo Switch games do not qualify for the Target B2G1 free video game sale.

The exclusion of Nintendo Switch games just shows which console platform is the most popular this Holiday season. The Target Holiday video game sale on Sunday is only interesting for Xbox, PS4 and 3DS gamers.

The lower priced of the selected three games will be free. The Target Buy 2, Get 1 Free sale will run for one week and offered online at target.com and in Target retail stores. Target REDCard members can as always save another 5%.

The new Call of Duty WWII and Wolfenstein II, released on Friday, does qualify for the Target sale. Target's video game sale is only really a deal when purchasing three blockbuster games that retail for $59.99 each. This way customers save a full $60 on three games. Collectors can save even more when they purchase special editions of games.

The most expensive titles qualifying for the Target Buy 2 Get 1 free deal are the $199.99 Mirror's Edge Catalyst Collector's Edition, $199.99 Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kindom Collector's Edition and $169.99 Rock Band 4 Band-In-A-Box Bundle.

You can also use the Buy 2 Get One Free promotion to purchase amiibo. Select three amiibo and you get cheapest one for free. Over 1,380 video games qualify for the Target B2G1 free video game deal. The early best-selling games in the sale are NBA 2K18, Destiny 2 and Sims4.

Make sure to compare video game deals on amazon.com and with Best Buy's with Gamers Club. The Best Buy Gamers Club membership gives customers 20% off on new physical video games including pre-orders. The BGC membership is $30 for two years.

There is also like last year a Buy 2, Get 1 free deal for board games, but you cannot mix and match with the B2G1 video game sale. Also excluded in the sale is the popular Cards Against Humanity card game. The free Holiday shipping without minimum will start on November 1 at target.com.

As reported earlier, the Target Ad also advertises the SNES Classic will be in stock online at target.com on November 1, exclusively for Target REDcard members.

Black Friday 2017 is on November 24, 2017. The first early online Black Friday Deals will go on sale on November 1. Other retailers that offered Black Friday deals on November 1st included Walmart, Dell, and NewEgg.
