Nintendo Switch Sales Surpasses Wii Sales

Nintendo reviews Nintendo Switch sales could surpass Wii and Wii U sales and expected to go farther during holiday season

In a recent financial report by Nintendo, the company reviewed the sales of Nintendo Switch at the end of the fiscal year. The sales for Japan, Europe and the U.S. were reviewed for Nintendo Switch and the sales figured came out higher than anticipated.

The comparison was drawn from the sales of the previous best-selling gaming console. Wii and Wii U have been a best seller for some time until Nintendo came up with Nintendo Switch.

Nintendo Switch’ successful sales have been attributed to the multi-play mode. The Nintendo Switch comes in dual mode; TV mode and handheld mode. A plus point is that Nintendo Account users’ gameplay is saved separately.

Their progress in both modes is saved. The dual mode is also a great hit with the gamers as they enjoy playing both TV and handheld mode. It offers the players to play in the mode that they are comfortable with.

Studying the patterns of the mode that the players are playing mostly with helps in advertising Nintendo Switch for the holidays. The sales are expected to rise across the holidays in Japan, U.K. and the U.S.
