The iPhone X demand is huge in Germany.

The iPhone X line is around 500 people long at the Apple flagship store in Munich, Germany. The store is rumored to stock 1,700 to 2,000 iPhone X in stock.

The first in line at the Apple Store lined up over 2 days ago. The Apple Store has set up tables with iPhone X units for customers to try. You can watch a live video stream from the Apple Store in Munich on tz.de as the store is opening now.

The Apple Stores in the United States open at 8 am local time for the iPhone X sale. The iPhone maker did not reveal how many iPhone X units will be available at each store, but Apple encourages customers to line-up early in the announcement. This likely means very limited iPhone X inventory. There are 271 Apple Stores in the US. If the rumors are true of 1,700 to 2,000 iPhone X units in the Apple Store in Munich, this could be good news for people in line at the largest Apple Stores in the US.

The iPhone X is not just an expensive investment, it's also expensive to maintain. A screen replacement is $279. Despite the shortage, Sam's Club advertised a $250 gift card promotion for the iPhone X in the November 11 Holiday sale.
